Ernestas Spruogis appointed as Vice-President of the Court
Pursuant to the Constitution of the Republic of Lithuania and in view of the recommendation from the Judicial Council, President of the Republic of Lithuania Gitanas Nausėda signed a decree on 1 February 2023, whereby appointing Ernestas Spruogis as Vice-President of the Supreme Administrative Court of Lithuania from 2 February 2023.
Ernestas Spruogis has been appointed a judge in the Supreme Administrative Court of Lithuania since March of 2021. Beforehand, Ernestas Spruogis worked as a judge in the Vilnius Regional Administrative Court.
In 2002, Mr Spruogis was awarded with a doctorate degree in Law. Since 1998, he has been involved in scientific and educational activity and has a long-standing experience as lecturer and docent in Mykolas Romeris University Law School.
